The site of the Barangay Hall is the actual site if the old nipa house of former Mayor Vicente "Enteng" Eusebio. Fronting it was the old house and apartment units of Don Mariano Melendres (Rizal's representative to the 1935 constitution) under the care of the Zapanta-Albea Family. Also to be found along these stretch resides the Umali Family, the Saquitan Family, the Fuentes Family, and the Raymundo family.
The construction of the present Barangay Hall was made through the efforts of its industrious Barangay Kapitana "Nene" Sarmiento.

Barangay Malinao, traces its beginning in the early 12th century, when it was a vast flatland, occupied by the early taga-ilogs ( a term refering to the early settlers along the pasig river). In the 14th century, malay traders intermarried with the local inhabitants, propagating islam. Under the reign of Sultana Kalangitan, Malinao, which was a part of the center of pasig which was ruled under a sultanate, got its name from the creeks which were flowing in the area which was pristine and potable. Later, during the spanish period, the area was made into a sitio, which later became a barrio covering the entire pasig catholic church and cemetery, the old bukid at the back of the cemetery and the proximal vicinity covering Jabson St. and E. Jacinto St.
Today, it is a busy thoroughfare seving as a gateway leading to the public market and city hall and a gateway going in or out of the City of Pasig.

it does not matter if they accept students who need guidance... what matter most is the transformation the students received after acceptance... i think they are doing a great job on it.

The Ateneo School of Medicine and Public Health (ASMPH) aims to form leaders who can become agents for systemic and structural changes in the health sector. As an institution of higher learning, the School seeks to influence access to and delivery of health services in the Philippines and in the world.
As a professional school dedicated to health, the School aims to mold the physician of the future: one who is an outstanding clinician, a dynamic manager, and a social catalyst.
Not only are students trained in the basics of medicine and curative care, they are also taught to understand health systems from the perspective of organizations, populations, and society. The School incorporates learning management principles and an understanding of social determinants that affect the public’s health.
